Everything you need to know before starting.
No, we exclusively specialize in Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs.
A PHP is an intensive five-day per week therapeutic program that stabilizes a patient who may be at risk of hospitalization or is stepping down from a hospitalization. This program is also beneficial to someone who is having difficulty functioning in their home, school, and/or work environments. PHP programs are available for teens (ages 12-17) and adults.
An IOP is a three-day per week program that provides intensive therapy to those stepping down from a PHP program or for those who are in need of a higher level of care than traditional outpatient therapy. If you are unsure whether or not our programs are appropriate for you, please contact our office for more information or to schedule an evaluation. IOP programs are available for children (ages 8-11), teens (ages 12-17), and adults.
All programs include an in-depth assessment and psychiatric evaluation during your initial visit to Innerspace Counseling. A highly individualized treatment plan is created to fit your needs. Each program includes individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and family sessions. Discharge planning ensures that supports and services are in place upon program completion.
People often attend IOP or PHP when weekly therapy is not providing enough support. These programs offer more frequent care, structured treatment, and a coordinated team while allowing clients to continue living at home.
Treatment is personalized and may include individual, group, and family therapy, psychiatric care, and evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, ACT, ERP, and Brainspotting. Many clients transition back to weekly outpatient therapy after completing the program.
We see children from ages 8 to 11, adolescents from ages 12 to 17, and adults 18 and older. Our adult and youth populations are kept separate at all times.
We are a primary mental health facility, so we treat those whose mental health is of primary concern. We do, however, treat co-occurring substance use disorders.
Not all Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) are the same. At Innerspace Counseling, we combine evidence-based treatment, specialized expertise, and compassionate care to help children (8+), teens, and adults achieve lasting mental wellness.

Good Faith estimates are provided to all clients who elect to receive services Out of Network or as Self Pay. This estimate includes the cost of each date of service. For your estimate you would multiply each date of services by the cost of that service. The length of treatment and number of visits will depend upon your clinical progress. These costs may also apply if at any point during your treatment program your insurance no longer covers services for any reason. It is your responsibility to notify our billing department if your insurance changes. You may also incur these charges if you fail to notify our billing department of any changes in your insurance provider or coverage and authorization is unable to be obtained.
