MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Thoughtful psychiatric support within a
complete treatment plan.

Medication management helps clients and families understand treatment options, monitor progress, and coordinate psychiatric care alongside therapy and skill-building.

What Is Medication Management?

Evaluation, education, monitoring, and ongoing support.

Medication management is an ongoing process led by a qualified psychiatric provider. It may include evaluating symptoms, reviewing medical and medication history, discussing treatment options, prescribing when clinically appropriate, and monitoring progress.

Medication is considered as one part of the overall treatment plan; it is coordinated with therapy, family support and other interventions; and any related decisions take into account symptom severity, goals, and client preferences.

Medication Management At Innerspace

One part of comprehensive
IOP and PHP care.

Psychiatric providers work alongside therapists and the broader treatment team to ensure medication decisions fit the client’s symptoms, goals, age, level of care, and overall treatment plan.

Medication management may be coordinated with individual therapy, group therapy, family sessions, CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, and other clinically appropriate services.

Not every client needs medication. Recommendations are made through individualized clinical evaluation rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
