Recognized among more than 2,500 international submissions, Innerspace Counseling is celebrating an important milestone in its mission to make specialized mental healthcare more accessible.

Innerspace Counseling is proud to announce that it has been named a Finalist in the 6th Annual Anthem Awards, recognizing its work expanding access to evidence-based treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety.

Presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, the Anthem Awards recognize purpose-driven work creating meaningful social impact.

Innerspace was recognized in the Health – Mental & Behavioral Health category for its initiative:

Expanding Access to Evidence-Based OCD & Anxiety Care Through New Jersey's First In-Network Specialized Intensive Outpatient Program & Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP/IOP) featuring ERP.

The recognition highlights Innerspace's commitment to addressing a significant challenge in behavioral healthcare: helping individuals and families access specialized treatment when traditional outpatient therapy is not enough.

Why This Recognition Matters

For individuals living with OCD and severe anxiety, finding the right level of treatment can be challenging.

While outpatient therapy is effective for many individuals, others need more intensive support to manage symptoms that interfere with school, work, relationships, and daily functioning.

Specialized treatment programs may also be difficult to access because of limited availability, insurance restrictions, or financial barriers.

Innerspace Counseling developed its specialized OCD & Anxiety Track to help address these challenges.

Through our Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program (IOP/PHP), patients can access structured, evidence-based treatment that incorporates:

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): A first-line psychological treatment for OCD that helps individuals gradually confront feared situations while reducing compulsive responses.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): An approach that supports psychological flexibility and helps individuals take meaningful action aligned with their values.

  • Individualized treatment planning: Care tailored to each patient's clinical needs, symptoms, and treatment goals.

  • Multidisciplinary support: A coordinated treatment experience designed to help patients build skills and work toward meaningful improvements in daily life.

By offering specialized programming that participates with major commercial insurance plans, Innerspace strives to reduce barriers to treatment.

A Mission Bigger Than an Award

At Innerspace Counseling, our purpose is to help people achieve a life they believe is worth living.

Our mission is to expand access to specialized, evidence-based mental healthcare for children, teens, and adults facing serious mental health challenges.

This recognition represents more than an organizational accomplishment. It reflects the dedication of our clinical team, the trust of our patients and families, and our continued commitment to improving access to effective mental healthcare.

We are especially grateful to the clinicians, community partners, and referral providers who help connect individuals with the care they need.

Help Us Win the Anthem Community Voice Award!

As a finalist, Innerspace Counseling is also eligible for the Anthem Community Voice Award, which recognizes projects receiving the greatest public support.

Community voting is open through October 29, 2026.

We invite our patients, families, colleagues, referral partners, and community supporters to help celebrate this recognition.

Your support helps shine a spotlight on the importance of accessible, specialized mental healthcare.

Thank you for being part of our mission to make specialized mental healthcare more accessible throughout New Jersey.
